Fuck my life. My town (by the way) on top of a mountain got flooded. >.>. Each flood picture/video is followed by a picture of that road not flooded.

None of these pictures/videos are mine, I'm just showing you all a flash flood on a mountain.

Coincidentally I hear the exact opposite is happening near Perth, major bushfires.

Lucky I'm safe, although Brisbane's only an hour away and that'll be flooded by tomorrow if not today.

It's not out in all of Brisbane, I still have power. Here are some pictures I took with a comparison to google maps of what it normally looks like, sorry, they are quite large.

Yeah, I'm okay. I've evacuated my house now, the power got cut (hence me not being on anymore) so I am at my sister's boyfriend's house which is at the top of a huge hill. The river is insane, we drove past an area that was almost completely under water, the water is very close to my house now and I'm not sure what will happen. Hopefully when I get home I come home to a dry house. >.<

even if your house gets flooded, the government is providing money to help people out and help pay for the damages.

Mmm, still annoying as hell though and there are things that can never be replaced. It should all be okay though, at worst I will need to get carpet replaced and such.

=/ You guys are in some shit. Let's hope you stay safe and don't get your house too badly damaged.

I have a great aunt and uncle, Both in their 80s that live in Sunnybank Hills, Which is what like...not sure how far south of Brisbane, They live in a bungalow so I suppose if the worst happens they will be travelling back to Byron Bay where they used to live or possibly even off to New Zealand to where my Uncle is now living.
